Sportlogiq Joins Hockey Fights Cancer | Sportlogiq se joint Le Hockey Pour Vaincre Le Cancer

Cancer is a cruel disease that affects an immeasurable amount of people. Each and every one of us is fighting for someone, and this year Sportlogiq is once again taking part in Hockey Fights Cancer month. 

In unison with our NHL partners and the hockey community - we will be joining the fight by collecting donations from Sportlogiq staff, and matching staff donations with a lump sum donation to Hockey Fights Cancer at the end of the month.  Our social media logos will also be lavender themed for the remainder of the month to highlight this important initiative and spread awareness. 

Hockey Fights Cancer was founded in 1998 by the National Hockey League® along with the National Hockey League Players’ Association. This initiative receives immense support from players, coaches, officials, equipment managers, front office staff, corporate partners, as well as fans. Together, the hockey community looks to inspire and give hope and courage to those who are living with, going through, and trying to move past their battle with cancer. 

Throughout the month of November Hockey Fights Cancer will take place across the NHL. Each of the 32 NHL clubs are supporting Hockey Fights Cancer with their own events, promoting lavender coloured apparel, equipment, and special initiatives and recognition throughout.

Hockey Fights Cancer will, once again, help the American Cancer Society, Canadian Cancer Society, and Movember Foundation provide a better quality of life for patients, caregivers, and their family. 

 In addition, cancer has affected the Sportlogiq family. This cause is close to our hearts, and we are honored to participate and do our part this November.

Sportlogiq se joint Le Hockey Pour Vaincre Le Cancer

Le cancer est une maladie terrible qui touche de nombreuses personnes. Chacun d'entre nous se bat pour quelqu'un, et cette année encore, Sportlogiq participe à la campagne de novembre #LeHockeyPourVaincreLeCancer.

Conjointement avec nos partenaires de la LNH et de la communauté du hockey, nous nous joindrons à la lutte en recueillant des dons auprès du personnel de Sportlogiq et en versant une somme équivalente à ces dons à
la campagne Le hockey pour vaincre le cancer à la fin du mois. De plus, nos logos sur les réseaux sociaux seront de couleur lavande pour le reste du mois afin de souligner cette importante initiative et de sensibiliser le public.

Le hockey pour vaincre le cancer a été fondé en 1998 par la Ligue nationale de hockey® et l'Association des joueurs de la Ligue nationale de hockey. Cette initiative bénéficie d'un immense soutien de la part des joueurs, des entraîneurs, des officiels, des responsables de l'équipement, du personnel de la direction, des partenaires commerciaux ainsi que des adeptes. Ensemble, la communauté du hockey cherche à inspirer, à donner de l'espoir et du courage à ceux et celles qui vivent, traversent ou essaient de surmonter leur combat contre le cancer.

Tout au long du mois de Novembre, Le hockey pour vaincre le cancer se déroulera dans toute la LNH. Chacun des 32 clubs de la LNH célébrera sa propre campagne Le hockey pour vaincre le cancer, tout en faisant la promotion de vêtements et d'équipements de couleur lavande, ainsi que d'initiatives spéciales et de reconnaissance.

Le hockey pour vaincre le cancer aidera, une fois de plus, l'American Cancer Society, la Société canadienne du cancer et la Fondation Movember à offrir une meilleure qualité de vie aux patients, à leurs familles et aux aidants.
