Recapping Nessis 2019

On September 28th, our Data Analysts: David Yu, Nick Czuzoj-Shulman, Evin Keane and Sam Gregory attended the New England Symposium on Statistics in Sports (NESSIS) at Harvard University.  

Sam Gregory presented on identifying and classifying off the ball runs in soccer. His entire presentation is available in the video below and his slides are available at bit.ly/2oPV5aU.

Nick presented his poster titled “The Paths We Take: A Player Tracking Analysis of NHL Shootouts”. David & Evin also showcased their poster: “On The Utility of Tracking Data for Augmenting Event-Based Models in Hockey and Soccer”.
