We're looking for an experienced Director of Hockey Services to lead our team of Professional Services staff and Analysts in order to continue developing strong relationships with Sportlogiq’s customers through the provision of product support, training and custom professional services related to the use of the company’s products. As a member of the Executive Team, this position has a strong internal and external voice in providing expertise on hockey analytics and their use by our customers, and as a key stakeholder in driving our product vision and roadmap.

  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Respond to customer requests on a timely basis with accurate responses to product usage questions, insights and custom reports based on the analytics
  • Encourage expanded use of the product within customer organizations, including assisting with Sales presentations for both new and existing customers 
  • Have regular, periodic executive review meetings with customers to gather feedback and drive increased engagement and alignment with their needs
  • Manage a team of support staff to deliver the services to customers
  • Establish and maintain a log of all support tasks provided and leverage the data to identify areas for product improvement or training, and improve the overall efficiency of the service delivery
  • Maintain a high level of employee engagement and alignment with company values and objectives
  • Provide feedback to the Product Teams
  • Gather input and usage information from customers for new or enhanced metrics, product features and functionality for consideration by the Product Managers
  • Provide direct input and direction regarding how specific data annotation metrics should be captured by the operations team
  • Deep knowledge and passion for professional hockey and the use of analytics in the sport
  • Minimum 3 years experience providing client support in a similar role
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills with the ability to quickly write clear and concise reports and updates
  • Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with corporate departments, key business partners, and other stakeholders
  • Strong presentation skills including delivery of presentations of 1-3 hours to groups of 10+
  • Detail oriented with strong problem resolution skills and demonstrated good judgment
  • Direct hands-on experience with SQL queries and/or statistical analysis a plus
  • Minimum of 3 years experience directly managing a team
